From her El Salvadoran ancestors she is gifted in the tradition of a sacred womb healing. Her intentional Hapé Fire Ceremonies offer profound transformation. Evangelista has the ability to hold space like no other, exemplary of unconditional love. She holds our hand across the uncharted waters of our consciousness and self-discovery.

As the mother of a 10 year old daughter, who was home birthed in the most desired setting, and a surrogate mother to a baby girl born in a hospital setting via emergency c section and born at 25 weeks, I have truly felt the miracle of life come through me in two completely different ways. Life is truly a sacred gift and I couldn’t have done this without the proper support.

At my daughter’s birth, my doula was a close friend. She had/has a loving and a kind presence. During labor I felt supported, cared for and guided. I had back-labor and when contractions started, things moved very fast. I was in active and transition and giving birth within for two hours. At no point did I doubt myself or that I wouldn’t be able to manage with my labor process. Knowing that God, my doula, and co-parent were there bearing it all with me brought a lot of comfort, trust, love and confidence within myself.

A few months ago I had the honor and privilege to birth a little girl that I felt chose me to be her birth mom via surrogacy. This experience had it's own challenges. I was placed on bedrest at 10 weeks for two weeks. And, at 23 almost 24 weeks I ended in the emergency room. I thank God I was at a great hospital. I was at the hospital and gave birth via cesarian at 25 weeks/ six days!

I am so grateful that in the past 20 years of my life I have picked up so many teachings along the way.
I have had the privilege to have studied under some of the most amazing yoga, meditation, reiki, somatic, body workers, plant medicine teachers, but most of all being guided by GOD! My deep practice and connection with self. I was able to create a hospital cesarian birth experience for myself in mantra and prayer. None of this would have been available to me if I wasn’t deeply connected to God and myself- to trust and to be in deep surrender and guidance. I also know and understand not every birth is the same. We all have our own journey and learning experiences. But, I do know that it is important to be seen, heard and validated no matter what we are experiencing, or what our progress might be.

When I assisted in my first delivery for a dear sister of mine (my daughter’s stepmom), I felt the deepest ceremony life can offer, the birth of a child. The love that moved through me was so immense, I knew this was my calling. During this delivery, it was an honor to assist my dear friend through all the feelings of fear, surrender, trust, sweetness, and her own maternal instincts. She labored at home, until we were ready to go to the hospital to continue the labor journey there. I was there to help her with making this progress as comfortable and possible for her using many of the technics I have experience with. This birth is very personal to me. Being in service to my dear friend and welcoming a baby sister for my daughter. I did all of this while being guided in prayer and having deep connection with myself and my intuition. Being lead by the birth mom, tuning into her, following her lead, allowing for space, creating that trust, staying grounded and presence, being a team. I will be eternally grateful for this gift.

Shortly after, I completed my doula training. Today,  I am here to assist you in whatever possible way I can.

Whatever you imagine your birth experience to be… I know I don’t have all the answers and can’t  promise that your birth plan will go according to how it is written. But, do know that I am willing, open, available and I will stay in prayer with you to walk this journey and hold your hand, you can count with me as your support, sister and friend!
